overview
Each year during the ANZUP Annual Scientific Meeting, a free forum is held to provide the community with information about the importance of clinical trials and how research can improve treatments and outcomes for people diagnosed with prostate, bladder, kidney, penile or testicular cancer.
This forum allows the public to engage with an experienced team of national and international healthcare professionals and patient advocates whilst learning about ANZUP and its research as a cooperative clinical trials group. ANZUP’s clinical trials program is presented and various trials are discussed.

At this event attendees can engage with trial participants and gain an understanding of what it means to be part of a clinical trial. Quality of life topics such as the cost of cancer care and the impact of treatment on relationships and intimacy are also discussed. In addition, the forum provides valuable advice on using the internet and social media to obtain reputable health information.
