ANNUAL REPORT 2024

Sydney Pedalthon

OVERVIEW

The Sydney Pedalthon made its return on Tuesday 31 October 2023 at the iconic Sydney Motorsport Park. The day was full of energy and competitive spirit. We witnessed grit, determination, and cycling prowess, as well as a lot of fun.

We’re excited to share that the event saw an incredible turnout, with over 120 registered riders participating, accomplishing 1,843 laps, equal to 7,250 km. Our combined entry fees, donations, and sponsorships have raised over $75,000. This surpasses our most recent Melbourne Pedalthon!

A special thank you goes out to Michael Milton, OAM, our Pedalthon ambassador, who joined us once again, following the 2023 Melbourne Pedalthon.

We were graced with inspiring speeches from ANZUP Chair Professor Ian Davis, as well as the esteemed ANZUP researchers, Professor Lisa Horvath and Associate Professor Kate Mahon, who gave great insight into the work that goes on behind the scenes in our mission to improve outcomes for people living with below the belt cancers.
