ANZUP Idea Generation Workshop – New Zealand

On Friday 12 September 2025, we will be holding our inaugural New Zealand ANZUP Idea Generation Workshop – Welcoming the NZ in ANZUP in Auckland. The purpose of this IGW is understand what investigator-led and academic trials successful in NZ, explore why they are successful, and identify clinical trial and translational ideas that are feasible in New Zealand to ensure that we are expanding our life-improving cancer research to New Zealand. We expect trials that would be suitable for a New Zealand context could also add Australian sites but aware there may be context specific challenges that may be worthy of discussion at this IGW. We also hope there are also excellent translational research ideas that could be presented to advance our understanding of urogenital cancers from a Trans-Tasman lens.
