for this untied educational support.**
All accepted abstracts will be required to prepare an A0 poster in a portrait orientation that will be on display in the exhibition area for the duration of the ASM (Sunday 8 July to Tuesday 10 July 2018). Accepted abstracts will also be published in the ASM Program & Abstract Book.
The Program Committee will only communicate via email with the nominated contact for the abstract submission; therefore it is imperative that the details given in the address for correspondence section are accurate. It is expected that the contact person will communicate the outcome of the abstract submission with all presenters and authors.
It is a requirement that the nominated presenters of all successful abstract submissions are registered to attend the ASM prior to the close of the earlybird registration rate.
Important tips before you begin:
All abstracts must be submitted by
6pm 6 April 2018
, presented in English and be a piece of original work (encore abstracts are permitted).
Text should be entered in upper and lower case. Please do not type abstract titles or text all in capital letters. There is a maximum of 300 words for the abstract, excluding title, author(s) names, affiliations, organisations and references. Please ensure that your abstract submission complies with the ANZUP 2018 Abstract Template (please download and open the template using Word) prior to submission.
The abstract should include objectives, methods, results and conclusions. Conclusions of the form - “Results will be discussed” - are not acceptable.
Only standard abbreviations may be used as per the BJUI guidelines (please click here to view). For abbreviations not listed on the BJUI list, please write in full in the first instance with the abbreviation in brackets. Please write titles in full with no abbreviations.
Abstracts submitted for presentation will be published exactly as submitted. All submissions should be checked for accuracy and misspelling prior to submission. Please ensure that all authors are included in your abstract in the order you would like the names to appear. Presenters should be underlined in your abstract document.
Please do not send multiple submissions of the same abstract. To enable you to edit and access your abstract before the submission deadline, please note your username and password.
You will be asked to identify the presenter during the abstract submission process.
Successful abstracts will be notified in May 2018 via email. Should you have any questions regarding the abstract submission process please do not hesitate to contact
or phone +61 3 9810 0200.
