WFNMB 2018 Post-Congress Symposium
Following the 12th World Federation of Nuclear Medicine & Biology (WFNMB) congress in Melbourne, the 2-day Post-Congress Symposium in Cairns will focus on the role of PET imaging and radionuclide therapy in prostate cancer.
The ANZUP co-badged symposium features lectures from leading international speakers, including ANZUP Chair Prof Ian Davis, A/Prof Declan Murphy, A/Prof Louise Emmett, Prof Michael Hofman and A/Prof George Hruby.
Day 1 will focus on the diagnostics of primary and recurrent prostate cancer, including the role of new and novel PET radiopharmaceuticals and new technologies such as PET/MRI. On day 2, the focus will move to treatment of prostate cancer, with state-of-the-art lectures on current treatment approaches, with a particular focus on the increasing role of radionuclide therapy. Several case-based and interactive panel discussions will also be held throughout the symposium.
