ANZUP GU Preceptorship

, ANZUP

“The Preceptorship” is an interactive learning model developed by Professor Eva Segelov covering landmark clinical trials in specific cancers, with mentorship from experts in the field. It has been applied in the areas of lung, colorectal and GU cancers to aid trainees and junior consultants in understanding the evolution of management and evidence behind contemporary clinical practice.

The 1 ½ day workshop covers landmark clinical trials in kidney, bladder, testicular or prostate cancer. Target participants are trainees and junior consultants in medical, radiation, surgical oncology, palliative care, nuclear medicine and relevant non-oncology specialties e.g. urology.

Involvement in a Preceptorship is a significant commitment involving 6-8 hours of preparation prior to attending the meeting. Participants need to apply online stating why they would like to undertake the course and which papers they would like to present. Places are limited and expected to fill quickly. The first fully completed applications will be the first to be confirmed. Successful applicants will be supported to attend this exciting initiative. Registration for all attendees is a fully non-refundable fee of $250.
