Testicular cancer was a lethal disease, but because of new treatments tested carefully in clinical trials it is now almost always curable, even when it has spread. We still need to do better. This can only happen through understanding the science and by performing clinical trials to see which treatments are the ones most likely to help.
Testicular cancers are the most common in young men. When confined they are often cured through removal. Even with excellent treatments available we can still do better by performing clinical trials.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether giving the same dose
of BEP on a 2-weekly schedule will be more effective than a 3-weekly
schedule and will be well tolerated. The 2-weekly schedule is called
The e-TC website provides evidence-based information and psychological strategies for coping with the challenges associated with testicular cancer. This study will evaluate the use and satisfaction with the e-TC website in men who are feeling stressed, down or worried about their cancer coming back.
